From our Pastor

Welcome to Saint Sharbel Maronite Mission – Milwaukee (SSMM)

I am so grateful to serve as the Pastor of a wonderful welcoming community who, despite its small size, is proving herself strong in faith, resilient in hope and expressive in charity and service, simply put, a community worthy of becoming more than a mere “Mission”. I am looking forward to meeting you, serving God through you, and sharing with you the joy that I received when I met God in my life.

Best in Christ,

Father Joe Daccache, Ed.D.

As a Maronite priest and a proud graduate in Psychology and Catholic Leadership and Social Justice, I appreciate diversity, embrace inclusion, and truly value the importance of our Catholic faith as well as our Maronite tradition, as an expression of richness and our openness to others. As mentioned in our mission statement, at Saint Sharbel’s, we are dedicated to growing in our knowledge of God’s word, to experiencing Him in the Sacraments, to serving Him by welcoming and assisting our brethren from all spiritual and cultural backgrounds, and most importantly to glorifying Him by making His healing power reach everyone through the intercession of our great Saint Sharbel.

At SSMM, we strongly believe that everyone is a Child of God and that we all need to experience God’s perfect love for us in order to put an end to the misery in the world. For us, the best way to do that is to walk in the footsteps of God’s Saints, especially Mary and Saint Sharbel.
